The Halloween that Wasn't

We didn't Halloween this year. No decorations. No pumpkins. No bags of candy. No tricks. No treats.

We watched Footloose and Night of the Living Dead.

Grizzly Man

I finally got to watch Grizzly Man.

I think it is too harsh to say that Timothy Treadwell "got what he deserved" but I do not think what happened was exactly shocking or unexpected.

I'm really glad to have finally seen this, I've wanted to since it came out four years ago. I was not disappointed!

I can't stop telling my dog "I love you" in his silly sing-song voice and calling her the boss of the foxes.

Up

We went to the movies together this evening. We saw Disney's Up. I was afraid it might be tough to get tickets, but our 7:30 showing was only about half full.

I cried during the movie. It costs $50 for a family of three to go to the show and get popcorn and drinks. (That's not really what made me cry, but I came close then too.)
